As the city’s oldest service club of any kind (founded in 1917) The Rotary Club of Regina boasts a membership with a wide age range.

Since 1940, the club has hosted an annual Rotary Christmas Carol Festival that takes place at the Knox Metropolitan United Church over four consecutive evenings in early December and features around 60 choral groups from Regina and the surrounding area, raising funds for local charities. Local projects include supplying backpacks for children in August, minding a Salvation Army kettle, supporting a literacy program and a signature project with Souls Harbour Rescue Mission.

The Mission’s  services include a Men’s Emergency Shelter, a ‘Free’ Clothing store, a soup kitchen, the Dean Smith Youth Centre, Little Souls Daycare, the Shayil Home Women’s Addictions Program for women and their children, and affordable housing through ‘Harbour House’, a 30 suite low income apartment building.
