A compendium of our projects throughout the year:
- Meals on Wheels-delivery of meals one day a week
- St Michael’s School reading project where members participate in a reading program to promote literacy one day a week
- Summer Success: a project funded through the United Way to provide tutoring for two weeks during summer holidays to help at-risk students maintain their reading level during July and August. We have provided a grant to assist United Way with the program budget.
- Scholarships for two single parents at Saskatoon Polytechnic
- Scholarships for two high school students at E.D. Feehan High School
- Funding for a school project in Guatemala
- Funding for the Restorative Action Program designed to reduce conflict and bullying in Saskatoon high schools
Funding for two Shelter Boxes - Funding for Saskatchewan Hospital, a new mental health hospital in North Battleford for which a five-year commitment has been made.
- Funding for a pavilion to be built in Rotary Park
