The award-winning Ripple Effect Program can help make the world a better place; a better place by providing opportunities through education that will allow at least some Guatemalan children to break the cycle of poverty.

Whatever the reasons for involvement, the results speak for themselves. Rotarians in 14 Canadian clubs and 14 Guatemalan clubs are working on the program.  They provide funds, and administer matching grants from TRF and CRCID. With this money, they are currently purchasing and distributing books to 28 schools, supervising the building of 27 classrooms, ensuring delivery of school-based food programs, providing 35 scholarships, and more.

The shared effort of those involved in the program now gives hope to needy families scattered right across Guatemala. But, even with all this effort, there is so much more to do. Get involved; share the toil and share the dream that this can be a better world. You can then share the rewards reaped from knowing that you have made a positive difference in someone's life.
