Applications for 2011 District GSE Team to Brazil

District 5550 is making plans for a Group Study Exchange with District 4490 in Brazil in 2011. Currently seeking applications for position as Rotarian Team Leader and recruitment of four team members.
 

Interested Rotarians are invited to apply for the role of Team Leader. The deadline for applications for Team Leader is July 29, 2010. Interviews will take place September 10 & 11, 2010 at District central location. 

 

The Team Leader is required to have computer skills and an email address because much of the team preparation will be electronic. The applicant's Rotary club must first endorse the application for team leader.

 

District 5550 is also inviting clubs to recruit and submit applications for  GSE Team members. Candidates will be 25 - 40 years of age, Canadian citizens, be currently employed for at least two years in a profession or business. The selection process involves completion of an application  by August 27, 2011.

Completed application forms for Team Leader and Team Member must be emailed to Kim Marcotte at kimmarcotte@sasktel.net  with subject Rotary GSE to Brazil. All applications must be submitted in electronic form.

 

The Group Study Exchange is a vocational and cultural exchange for the purpose of promoting understanding and friendship.  The host country will arrange home stays and daily schedules, including 3-5 days of vocational experiences of interest to each member.  In turn, this Rotary District will host a team from Brazil.
