Since the Polio Plus program's inception in 1985, more than two billion children have received oral polio vaccine. But Rotary's work is not done: The disease has not yet been eradicated.

Rotarians stand at the brink of a great victory and look forward to celebrating the global eradication of polio.

PolioPlus Program grants provide polio vaccines, mobilize community resources, and support operational costs related to international efforts to immunize children, detect and track cases, and eradicate polio worldwide.
