Julio, of the Rotary Club Vista Hermosa, Guatemala has sent District 5550 some pictures of the people of Tameja decorating the Ripple Effect Tameja School for a forthcoming celebration.
Deb LeMaistre said, "One thing we've learned about Guatemalans is that they LOVE to celebrate! And its nice to see that the new school is such an important part of their community!"

According to Julio the school roof is on now, the window bars are in place and there is just painting and furniture left to do.
LeMaistre reports, "School resumes in January, so I'm sure by then the school will be ready for use."
Construction is dependant on volunteer labour, so takes a little longer.
