Spots for New Mexico Still Open - Deadline Extended to Nov 30, 2012

In this Rotary year (2012-13) District 5550 is arranging Rotary Friendship Exchanges with the following International districts: 3190 Bangalore India, 4250 Guatemala, 5520 New Mexico USA.
 

District 3190 map
1. District 3190 India* The Canadian team will arrive in Bangalore, India on February 5th, 2013 and depart from Bangalore on February 20th, 2013. The Indian team will arrive in Canada on May 18th, 2013 and depart from Canada on June 1st, 2013. Update: 6 of 6 spots are filled.

 District 4250 Map

2. District 4250 Guatemala* The Canadian team will arrive in Guatemala City on February 18th, 2013 and depart from Belize City on March 4th, 2013. The return visit of the District 4250 team will be announced later. Update: full, 7 of 7 spots filled.

 District 5520 Map

3. District 5520 New Mexico (USA)* The Canadian team will arrive in Albuquerque on March 27th, 2013 and depart from Albuquerque on April 11th, 2013. The District 5520 team will be coming to our District in May, 2013. Update: 4 spots are filled; 4 spots left; Minimum additional spots required, 2 in order to proceed.

 

Applications for these Rotary Exchanges are only open to registered Rotarians and their partners and single Rotarians. Each of the Exchange teams will therefore consist of a combination of couples and singles to a maximum of 12 people. Interested members should complete an application and send it to me by regular mail along with the required cheque (see below).

 

PQ RFE LemaistreAll outbound team members must be physically capable of about two weeks of intensive touring and travel. You are also expected to represent your Rotary Club, District 5550 and Rotary International as ambassadors. Of course team members should be genial and considerate in sharing a fellow Rotarian’s home and hospitality.

 

The three teams will be made up on a “first who applied basis”.

 

All applications must include a cheque for $200.00 (singles $100) that will be non-refundable except for health or medical reasons. Cheques should be made payable to the Rotary Club of Saskatoon. They will be held until a team has been selected. These funds will be used for expenses pertaining to the Friendship Exchange program.

 

DEADLINE FOR APPLICATIONS HAS BEEN SET FOR FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 21.
